By some accounts McNeil River Falls, in Alaska holds the distinction during the summer months, of having the highest concentration of brown bears in the world. McNeil River Falls is part of the McNeil River Gamer Sanctuary, a protect state park, that limits the number visitors to the park, to protect this unique resource.
